Our project in Herne Hill is a renovation and extension of a Victorian terrace in South London. Our clients, a young family wanted an ultra functional that can become the heart of their home. The kitchen balances an elegant durability with use of stainless steel fronts and tops on the back to wall areas allowing for our tiled and marble topped kitchen island to be the feature of the room. Precise design decisions allow the space to be occupied in different ways, from the curved window seat niche, the family dining table and the sit-on stairs connecting up to the front of the house.

Across the house we wanted to give each bathroom its own strong character. Something bold and luxurious for the master bedroom’s ensuite, something fun and easy to use for the family bathroom, and something rich and warm for the downstairs loo.

NiNN was heavily involved in all aspects of this project, with both architecture and interior design, guiding the clients through every step of the process.
