NiNN worked with the team behind Mare St Market in Hackney for their new location in Kings Cross, London. The project had to transform the huge a bare concrete and steel shell into a buzzing and dynamic environment picking up on the traits that make the original location so successful. The layout of the space had to deal with the complexities of the existing building and the breath venue’s offering, along with a mix-and-match interior that has an underlying continuity but also an ability to evolve.

In a local context where there are many high-expense and sometimes uncomfortable locations, Mare St Market Kings Cross sought to be a more casual and comfortable reprieve where guests can relax and be themselves.
